And I’m just ridiculous enough to attempt it, despite having a zillion uni assignments due in mid-May. (I’m a full-time student working on my BA in Creative Writing … and I’m also a full-time mum of three … hence the “ridiculous”.)
National Poetry Writing Month happens every April, and the organisers invite poets to write a poem every day for a month.
So yes. I’m doing that.
They will not be good. They will be classed as drafts, which means they could end up being decent in the future.
But the important thing is they will be poems, and there will be thirty of them.
