poem six: creeping postmodernism

Never underestimate
Baudrillard. Remember,
you too are affected
by so much hyperreal
simulacra, when you espouse
your fragmented narrative,
stupefied by experience.

*This was written from a prompt on an old list of NaPoWriMo prompts from 2011. The instructions were to grab the nearest book, turn to page 29, write down 10 words and use 7 in a poem. The nearest book to me was Beginning Postmodernism (thanks uni), and the seven words in the poem are underestimate, Baudrillard, simulacra, espouse, fragmented, narrative and stupefied.
